I have recently bought a VW Polo from this company. I found them to be as helpful as I could have hoped (picked me up from railway station and happy to take me back regardless of how much interest I showed in the car) They let me take the car for a test drive unaccompanied which shows a high degree of trust. The car was in great condition, but not over-prepared to the point at which you wonder how many defects have been covered up. Not very negotiable on the price, but even this I didn’t mind as I think the asking price was fair.
I felt that unlike many other car dealers I have recently visited, here are people that can be trusted and want your repeat business. I’d certainly have no problem going back next time I need a car.
I am adding this postscript to say that my Polo has just started suffering from an intermittent electrical problem which has now been dealt with by my local workshop (of my own choice – I live 150 miles away), the bill paid without hesitation by Chequers Cars. Many thanks!
