I recently bought a car from Chequers Cars at their Lightwater branch and had a great experience. I phoned before hand and explained I was looking at their Renault Clio and was told I could pop in that day to take it for a test drive. When I got there the Clio was sitting out ready for me to test drive. I popped in to say hello and was given the keys so I could take it for a test drive. The area is great to test drive in as the roads are very quiet so you can just focus on getting a feel for the car and not navigating traffic. When I came back there was absolutely no pressure to take the car. We had a nice chat and I asked a few questions about the car, all which were answered perfectly. I was a bit confused over where the spare tire was, and he came out and showed me where it was and how to take it out. Immediately I loved the car and bought it there on my credit card. All the paperwork and forms were taken care of for me and he went over the car log showing me the services it had. I have been driving the car for just under a week now and everything is perfect.
The no pressure, informative and relaxed atmosphere really helped me make the right decision myself and I could not be happier. As a bonus he even offered to drop the car through the car wash for me, but to be honest it was so clean already I just wanted to take it back home immediately.
I could not recommend Chequers Cars highly enough and when the time comes to get another car Chequers Cars will be my first choice. They are fantastic.
