We put our car for sale on Wizzle and received a quick offer – very close to our asking price – from Chequers Cars. After we accepted they paid us £100 via internet faster payment to verify the banking link, and arranged collection from our house. All of the timing suited us very well, and the balance of the purchase price was received in our bank account before the collection driver left. We were sad to part with our car, but pleased to sell to a “proper dealer” with a traditional business model.
